    our culture

    Many people can find networking difficult or off putting, so TBN has always done it differently.  But, if you're looking for somewhere to get immediate results from coming to one or two events then we're not the right place for you.  It's a proven fact that people prefer to do business with those that they trust, which requires building relationships.

    We live in a society with expectations or even demands for immediate results for our efforts, but networking is an ongoing process. Your network needs time to grow and you need to nurture it along the way.  But the process isn't always intuitive and networking done poorly is ineffective and off-putting.

    So, we focus on providing a relaxed, supportive environment that enables you to be an effective networker; one in which you can feel comfortable sharing information, building relationships based on trust and reciprocity and you can concentrate on giving, rather than receiving.  There's no pressure to sell or refer and nobody tracks your performance or attendance.

    Do you have any rules regarding attendance?

    No, we don't enforce or require attendance as part of your membership and you won't be penalised if you can't attend an event.

    What happens if I can't make a meeting?

    If for any reason you can't make a meeting you are free to nominate a colleague or other representative from your business/company who can attend in your place.

    Is there a minimum term for membership?

    We offer rolling 1 month or 12-month periods for membership.  However, successful networking is a longer term game so we encourage an initial term of 12 months membership, in order to maximise your opportunities.
